About UsCamps4u was established in Victoria, Australia in 2007. The principal consultant, Alisoun Elder is a teacher of 17 years experience. Her qualifications include: Bachelor of Teaching (Primary), Austswim (Swimming Teacher), Bronze Medallion (Life Saving), Senior First Aid, TESOL, Auslan (Sign Language) and Certificate IV in Business (Small Business Management).
Knowing that a well organised camp experience helps to develop improved communication, confidence, tolerance, self esteem, teamwork, trust and personal growth, she decided to make it easier for busy people to coordinate and run a great group getaway. Her experience with camp coordination includes: church family camps, youth camps, community group getaways, programming for the Victorian Children's Choir, canoe camps, numerous school camps, swim team camps and several 'Superheroes' camps for children.
Alisoun is well aware of the time and stress involved in planning a well organised group getaway and wants to offer useful, cost effective services and products to assist others in achieving a positive camp experience. |
